Lithographic Printing Specifications

1. The maximum number of available colors varies, depending upon the press being used. Please call your sales rep or CSR for assistance.

2. Envelope converting equipment has a +/- ¹/16" variance during folding. Allow minimum bleeds of ¹/8" to achieve desired results.

3. Rule weights should be a minimum of ¹/2 pt. In reverse areas the minimum is 1 pt.

4. Any point size can be used, but we recommend a minimum of 5 pt. type in positive areas and 7 pt. type in reverse areas.

5. Screens are run at 133-150 lpi, depending on the press being used.

6. Standard litho traps (ink overlaps) are 1/4 pt.
