Address Area and Bar Code Clear Zone
for optical character recognition:
- Address must be at least 1/2" inch from either the right edge
or the left edge of the envelope.
- An area 5/8" high from the bottom and 4 1/2" from
the right edge must be left clear for Post Office Bar Coding.
- Complete address must be visible with a minimum of 1/8" clearance
between both sides and bottom of window.
